What I love about Christmas

It's Christmas Eve, and we meet up with Prathana Mami, Arjun Mamu, Leela, Avya, Nani, and Nanu.
We eat a delicious dinner, with spaghetti and bolognese, with a dessert of pies and homemade cookies.
After a scrumptious dinner, the kids make Santa letters, bake more cookies, and put out a plate of cookies, carrots, and a glass of water, and then we all do a puzzle.
Soon enough its time for bedtime, the parents take a glance at the clock and.......... OH MY GOODNESS! Its 10:00! so then the parents surprise the kids that we are going to do the biggest sleepover ever! YAY!
I open my eyes... YAWN. I checked the clock. 6:07.
Wait a second... IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!! I ran into the family room. I was nearing the kitchen when I thought, "Maybe I should wake up Leela and Veer Bhaiya and Mama and Pops." I took slow steps back to the bedroom."Okay, fine, even though I am so excited, I should wait for them."
Only a few minutes later, I heard Leela say, " IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!" Then I heard small footsteps coming to my room, and I pretended to sleep. "JIYA DIDI, IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!" We both run to wake up the parents, then off to the family room we go!
Santa came! Hooray!!!
Later in the morning, we put on a record and eat lots and lots of food. We also celebrate Avya's 1st Christmas! Soon, we open up presents and share what we are grateful for.
I love Christmas so much!
